"D i n k y"

Little white Dinky was my first all white rescue. No one would have known that for the first few days until he got his first bath though! This little guy was actually my mom's doing, which is ironic considering she is usually the one who gets overwhelmed with a large number of rescues at the house! Her and my dad were in the projects in White Plains placing shelters for the winter, when they spotted this scrawny, filthy mess of a kitty watching them. He was so underweight, and his hip bones were visible from afar. He looked to have a grey coat, an eye infection, a chunk of his ear missing, and was in desperate need of neutering! My mom called me, and I showed up with a carrier and some food five minutes later. With this little guy's insane appetite and need for nutrition, it wasn't too difficult to get a hold of him with food incentives. A few days later he was neutered, tested, vaccinated, and bathed, and we all discovered he was a beautiful white cat! Sweet as can be, we cat and dog tested him within the next two weeks, and it turned out that he was completely bombproof. He could have cared less about the crazy dogs running around him, and got along with every cat we had him meet. He was so incredibly grateful to be indoors, and it showed. He wanted nothing more than a hand to bump and pet him, and his signature fluffy bed to make hours and hours of bread in. We all quickly fell in love with this sweetheart, and soon, one lucky family did too. He went to his forever home where he has both cat and dog siblings, and I couldn't have been happier to see him find his forever family.
