I rescued Bellini and her kittens from a lovely woman's backyard in Tarrytown. It was a challenging rescue physically, but all ended well! Bellini was not thrilled when I first rescued her, but after a few months she made quite the turnaround. She started to become friendly and accepting of attention and pets. Shortly after her rescue, her kittens were old enough to find forever homes. Bellini was then spayed and started acclimating to life inside. She soon met another one of the recues named Tank, and they instantly became best friends. They were always by each other's side, and really enjoyed each other's company. Tank brought out Bellini's sweet side, and she became very friendly over the course of the two years that I had both of them. They became so close to the point where I wouldn't even consider separating them when looking for a forever home!

After two years of waiting, Tank and Bellini found an amazing forever home with an awesome family, and even gained a cat sister! They're new cat sister was very shy, and I've been told since their adoption that now the other cat is coming out more to play with Tank! Post adoption photos show Bellini being social and friendly, and she looks so content and happy! Words can't describe how happy I am for these two! I think it's safe to say that their forever home was worth the wait!!!
