I rescued Juneau, her mom Sterling, and three siblings from a woman's driveway storm drain in White Plains. It was posted on Facebook that a mom and kittens had been hanging out in a woman's driveway, and taking up residency in the storm drain at the base of the driveway. The kittens were about 9 weeks old. I was able to grab two of the kittens straight out of the storm drain, and corner and grab the remaining two a few hours later. After securing the kittens, it took all of 5 minutes for momma cat to go into the trap. Everyone was safe! Juneau's litter included one boy and three girls. It didn't take long for her to find an amazing forever home with one of her sisters, Kodiak!
