Nemo was the first of his litter to be rescued from the bakery parking lot in Mount Kisco, when he was about 4 months old. He was immediately a total sweetheart, and stole the hearts of everyone he met! He LOVED his stuffed animal "Slothie" and cuddled up with that thing nonstop! 

About two weeks after his rescue, he gave me quite a scare when he was acting off one day. I took his temperature, and it was 106! By far, the highest fever I've ever seen in my 16 years of veterinary medicine. I got him to work immediately and started him of IV fluids and kept him on ice packs. A lot of supportive care and a few days later, and our boy was back to feeling like himself! What a relief! We never knew what caused that fever, but we were grateful that he pulled through it.

It turns out that he caught the eyes of previous adopters who adopted Sosumi two years prior! Without ever meeting Nemo, they committed to adopting him and I was over the moon! They came to pick him up and immediately fell in love! He spends his days playing and lounging with his sister, and they are the best of friends!
