Little stunner Maverick was rescued from the Yonker's backyard situation over the summer. He had been spotted in the yard, but none of his sibling's ever surfaced. He hid from me in a large wooden crate that housed rakes and shovels on the property. It took about 20 minutes of taking everything out of the wooden bin, rake by rake, shovel by shovel, but then I was able to grab this little cutie! He was young, only about 7.5 weeks old, and enjoyed human contact and affection within the first 24 hours. He was SUCH a handsome boy! Someone reached out to me within the week wanting to adopt him, before even meeting him! She had seen him online and fell in love! She was out of town, and we scheduled for her to come and meet him the following week. He was hard not to fall for. Between his stunning good looks and his incredibly sweet personality, she was hooked and she took him home that very day!
