I got a phone call one fall morning when I was pumpkin picking up north. It was from a previous local adopter, who discovered a mom cat and three little kittens underneath her deck in her backyard! That afternoon, I went to pick up the little cuties, and boy they were adorable! Two brown boy tabbys and a black female, to be exact. She had put them safely in a box and I brought them home. They were only about 4-5 weeks old, but luckily they had been nursing on mom for that time. I bottle fed them for a few days before they got the hang of eating wet food on their own.

Pumpkin was the biggest of the group! They all had such crazy big appetites, but Pumpkin was about double the size of his little sister, Zucchini! I had these babies for about 4 weeks until they were big enough to find forever homes. Pumpkin landed an awesome home where he has a golden retriever sibling! He adores his buddy!!! Update videos show Pumpkin sleeping on his furry friend's tail, and it might just be the cutest thing ever!
