 Tommy's story began when I was contacted by a local woman asking for help. Her and her family had been caring for a mom cat and her two 15 week old kittens ever since mom cat was pregnant in their backyard. They provided winter shelter and food multiple times a day. They wanted to get the kittens safely inside and adopt them into their family.

 

I went to their home and set one of my traps on their back deck, and only 20 minutes later, the little grey kitten was caught! I reset the trap and a few hours later, his brother, Tommy was too! I was so happy to get both kittens on the same day, so that they would not be without one another. I discovered that they were both boys, and they were understandably nervous that first day. As soon as the next day came around, they were both settling in nicely. They were both pettable almost immediately!

 

The family was so happy to welcome these two cuties into their home, and keep them safe and loved for the rest of their lives. I'm so happy these brothers get to spend their lives together! More happy news: I was in contact with a woman that lives nearby that area, and she was elated to hear that the kittens were rescued and safe, and she was now going to get the mom cat spayed! Happy news all around!
