"T o r t e l l i n i"

Tortellini was from one of the two litters rescued from the parking lot in Bedford. She and her three siblings were not easy to catch, but it was definitely worth all of the efforts. The litter was rescued when they were about 10-12 weeks old.
Two of the four kittens were adopted into great homes within the first few weeks, leaving Tortellini and her cautious sister Gracie, whom were still looking. Tortellini still needed time to come around, but it was obvious that she wanted to trust people. We decided that the two had become so bonded, that they would only be allowed to go to a forever home together. Gracie really depended on Tortellini for confidence.

It took about 5 months, but a woman came to meet them with interest to foster to adopt. She understood Gracie and where she was at socially, and accepted that. She loved that Tortellini was a mush and loved being pet and doted on. The woman excitingly took them into her home that night. After a little over a month, the woman made the decision to officially adopt them! It really comes to show what patience can do for an animal!
Happy forever little girls!
